Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is Kaya?
Kaya is a slow-cooked coconut jam born in Southeast Asian kitchens. Silky, caramelized, and gently rich, it is traditionally enjoyed on warm toast with butter.
Moh Kaya honours this heritage while crafting it fresh in the traditional way, in small weekly batches.
How does your ordering process work?
Orders are processed after payment confirmation on business days (Monday–Saturday).
Once you place your order, our team will get in touch to confirm your details and share the expected delivery date based on your location. We do not dispatch or deliver on Sundays.
What ingredients do you use?
Coconut cream, whole eggs (in classic versions) or fruits (in vegan versions), pandan leaves, natural sugars, and natural flavour infusions such as caramel, pandan, cardamom, saffron etc.
No preservatives. No artificial additives. Only deliberate, slow preparation.
Why is your kaya made in small batches?
We believe great kaya cannot be rushed or mass produced.
Every jar is slow-cooked in limited batches to preserve the rich texture, flavour depth, and warmth that define authentic kaya. It’s a slower process—but one that allows every jar to taste exactly as intended.
Where do you deliver?
From our kitchen to homes across India—our kaya is now available pan India, carefully packed and delivered with the same care it’s made with.
How should I store my Kaya jar?
Refrigerate upon arrival. Always use a clean, dry spoon.
When stored properly, your jar remains at its best for up to 2–3 weeks.
